What are your reasons for joining the contest?
I see myself as one of the premiere film makers of the country in the future. I have already proven that I have the ability to excel and I believe joining this contest will further sharpen and enhance my skills and abilities. There are always 2 choices in life, one is easy and its only reward is that it's easy. I am willing to learn and be trained to face the new challenges ahead of me. As proof of my unparalleled determination, passion, and desire, and my strong faith in education, I am willing to relocate and be trained to prove my qualifications to the world. As the old saying goes, the harder you work, the harder it is to surrender. |

Why do you like films and/or filmmaking?
First I said to myself that I wanted to be a filmmaker, and then I did what I had to do (graduate of mass communication) and now I know what to do (join the contest). I have been interested in films and filmmaking for the past ten years. I have been a "salve" of film ever since I pursued by college degree. As my skills and abilities improved from pre to post production, my interest day by day grows as I learn more about new innovations. Films and filmmaking, for me, is the windows of our soul and a door to the beautiful and ruthless world we live in. |

What is the impact of filmmaking/films in your life?
As a filmmaker myself, films has definitely made a huge impact in my life. My interest and hobbies evolve the world of film, my Saturday nights are scheduled with my list of "movies to watch" and all I can talk about with my friends are moves, movies and movies. I am a film person, my skills and talents match the criteria of the next "big thing" in the world of film. Because of film, I have learned to dream and wake up to work for it. I have learned that if you have no confidence in the world of film, you have nothing, whether you are a part of it or watching it. As Beatles proudly said, love is all we need! |

How can you relate your job in filmmaking?
As a fresh graduate with some months of experience in professional journalism in the US, all I can say is that I am packaged to be a filmmaker. I am a freelance writer and a graphic artist, as a result of this expertise, I can conceptualize, write, direct, produce, and edit using non-linear video editing softwares. I am not limited to one skill. I have been exposed and proudly mastered most aspects of multimedia and communication arts. I have the ammunition to enter your boot camp high and proud. I consider myself young and a neophyte, that is why I come to you so with a dream we may share. |

Why do you believe that you will be the winner of the program?
I have always thought that a life, which is not dedicated to a great ideal, is useless. I will be the winner because of talent, skill, passion, and unequalled determination. I believe I am the best person because I can work effective and passionately in a very fast paced working environment. To be creative is critical, nothing is impossible. It is determination and passion that drives me toward my goals, but it is the hard work that produces success. I strive to improve my performance by questioning today, this way, I will always feel my next achievement will be greater than my last.
